I am sorry its been awhile but sometimes life gets away from me. I tried really hard to do the everyday posting but i just cant... but here i am, i was digging through some other blogs i have posted and came across this one... its pretty funny. it made me laugh pretty hard.. its a story from when we (a bunch of people from work and i) went rafting a couple years ago. hope you find it as funny as i did! the original post date was july 3, 2006

"okay. we just got back from rafting.. ive got one story that still makes me laugh. so camping next to us is a group of bachelors. the guy getting married had to carry around a blowup doll. if he left her somewhere or if someone got her away from him, he had to chug a beer to get her back. (they said it was to get used to the "ball and chain")
so these guys were havin a good ole time hangin out with us around the campfire. i kept tryin and tryin and tryin to get the doll away from him with no success. we were roasting marshmellows and such. well. they get the great idea to go to the coloma club. (its a bar in the middle of nowhere, but the river raft guides go there to chill) well, we were not gonna let em drive drunk. (and they were pretty drunk at this point) so we took them down to the bar. (and yes the bachelor brought his doll.) well, they offer to buy us a drink for taking them down to the bar. and we accepted. just one, then it was back to camp to roast some more mallows. as we were waiting for our drinks, the bachelor let his buddy hold his doll. Bad idea. already he had to chug a beer. so the buddy kept shoving that thing in my face. finally he LET ME HOLD IT! Worse idea! so my friend (who shall remain nameless) says "u got the doll" and i say "yup" so shes like "RUN!" so i tuck this blowup doll under my arm, and we hightail it outta the bar. i can hear behind me "uhhh GUYS, the GIRLS ARE STEALING THE DOLL!" but they are too drunk to realize whats happening. we get about 50 feet away, and gettin away when we hear "HEY!!!!!! YOU HAVE OUR DOLL!! YOU CANT GET AWAY WITH HER!!!" so we run faster.. well, later i find out this guy is a runningback for some college football team. He caught up with us SUPER FAST!! in an instant he was on us! he ripped the doll outta my hands and said "shame on you for taking advantage of drunk guys!!" all we were gonna do was duct tape her in a provocative position to their tent. i think he was pretty angry!! but he forgave us.. (the other guys didnt remember) so empty handed we headed back to camp to make some awsome smores!"

Greetings!
so sorry I have not been blogging. Things got kind of hectic around Christmas. Places to go, food to munch, presents to open.
The holidays this year were quite fabulous! we had drinks we had amazing food, and we had a few surprises.
the first, is the birthday/Christmas gift from my beloved "uncle" (pictured above)
there is a story behind this one (as is much of what we do)
you see, when he was here visiting for thanksgiving, we had to get some starbucks (the man is addicted!)
  • so, we are driving to the starbucks that JUST opened in my neighboorhood. there was a sign out front, almost identical to the one pictured (the stand up kind) that had the starbucks logo, and the words "NOW OPEN" on it. Jokingly i turned to him and said "lets steal that!" he took me seriously. pulled off to the side and was getting ready to jack the sign. "NO! we cant! there are too many cars!" so it was on to get coffee and do our thing. i completely forgot about it, until my nana called me and told me there was a very special gift for me at her house. So i went on over chirstmas eve. i opened it and OH MY! it was perfect! i would have to say it is the most unique gift i have ever recieved. i really love it! for those who have been to our house, i put in the the landing right when you come in the front door. the "tigers lair" well, thats another quite interesting story. his nickname for me has always been Tiger. one of those things that just sorta came into play when i was visiting. he is the ONLY one though that calls me that, which makes it even cooler

booda, not to be left out, got Christmas presents too!

We did christmas eve out in yearington, nv. it was good. one of joes aunts introduced me to MUDSLIDES. mmmm. god i love those things!.... we came home to sleep for awhile and then dug right into Christmas! Joe got a set of binoculars from my grandparents. they will come in very handy, since we have a huge mountain for a backyard!

"why didn't i think if wearing these earlier"

after the festivities, Joe hooked up his new playstation and i proceeded to fall asleep on the couch....

booda however played with all his new toys! he got so many new chew toys so maybe, just maybe he will leave my socks alone!
