( i circled it on the map above) it was crazy because everyday we were in a different state. we planned it so that cheryl was the ONLY one who knew. bob had NO idea we were coming. a few times we talked to him on the phone and he was VERY upset that we couldnt come out. (mom said she couldnt get time off work, and i told him i was too broke) well it all went smooth. she kept the secret LIKE A PRO, until the week before we got there. she had to tell bobs dad that way they wouldnt make any plans. but it was still a secret. we got in around 2 pm to the airport ( i flew out of reno, had a layover in denver and got into tulsa about 1:00pm)(mom flew out of portland, had a layover in texas and got in about 2pm.) we got the car, had our directions, and were on the way!

(yeah, a chevy malibu. Automatic as well)we were on our way! mom was copilot. and an excellent one as well. we did NOT get lost once. it is a flat, boring drive to their house. no mountains to look at. just flatland and clouds
and some trees that look dead. but it was a good drive. we got into GROVE OK about 4pm, where we met cheryl. the town they live in is so small, it doesnt register on mapquest. we met up with her and followed her to their house. about 30 minutes later, we were sitting on the couch, cozy and visiting with cheryl and the baby Jacob Noah. who was quite fussy. I guess he has colic.. so he cried alot the first day, but calmed down after that.
